Israeli dancing this Sunday, February 12

We’ll review Adama Veshamaim, learn Kurdion or Mama Sheli, share lemon meringue candies, and dance Israeli from 1-4 pm.

Dear dancers,

Update: Eva Moravcik will lead International dancing from 1-2 pm, so Israeli dancing will start at 2 pm as originally planned.

We don’t have a leader for International dancing this Sunday, February 12, so we’ll dance Israeli from 1-4 pm. Vera will review Adama Veshamaim and Ellen will teach Kurdion or Mama Sheli. We will share some lemon meringue candies generously sent to us by Stacy Rose (who taught us Kisufim in December) from her home town of Coos Bay, Oregon.

Please avoid perfumes with artificial or synthetic fragrances if attending, as one of our dancers is sensitive. Essential oils and natural fragrances are acceptable.

Donations of any amount are accepted ($10 is suggested) but not required. We want you to attend! (As always, the amount of donation is optional.)

Thanks. We look forward to dancing with you all again this Sunday.

Using familiar dance steps like waltz or cha cha cha, Israeli dancers move in a circle (without partners) to Hebrew folk and pop melodies. Men and women, old and young, of whatever level of dance experience are encouraged to join.

  1. Have fun! I like that you put on the videos of the upcoming dances… that would truly be helpful to those coming. Stay upright in all this wind! I walked this morning ( with a companion) and we almost blew away. Fran
